New Valorant Agent Iso - Abilities, Gameplay, Info

Episode 7 Act 3 is shaping up to be the most significant update of the year. The introduction of the new agent, Iso, also known as Agent 24, is a much-anticipated adjustment to the current stagnant gameplay. To be honest, he looks extremely overpowered. Valorant game designer Nicholas Smith characterized the new agent, Iso, as a "Juggernaut." He explained that they aimed to steer clear of certain attributes, particularly mobility and healing. This led to the creation of the shield, enabling him to lead a team through challenges without relying on mobility or healing abilities.

Iso Abilities

E - Double Tap

START a focus timer. Once completed, enter a flow state during which downed enemies you kill or damage generate an energy orb. Shooting this orb grants you a shield which absorbs one instance of damage from any source.

Q - Undercut

Throw a molecular bolt that can pass through walls and other solid objects to catch enemies behind obstacles. When the bolt touches a player, the FRAGILE status will be applied to them.

This ability is similar to Omen's Paranoia, it goes through everything and who gets touched is affected by "Fragile".

C - Contingency

Assemble prismatic energy that can be fired as an indestructible wall of energy that blocks bullets. (Shield Wall)

Iso's shield is quite similar to Harbor's wall in function. It effectively blocks bullets and can't be positioned at a fixed spot; it keeps moving. Nevertheless, it serves as an excellent tool to provide cover for yourself as you enter sites and create room for your teammates.

X - Kill Contract

EQUIP an interdimensional arena. FIRE to hurl a column of energy through the battlefield, pulling you and the first enemy hit into the arena. You and your opponent duel to the death.

It's a straightforward one-on-one situation. Both players have 150 HP, and the duel lasts for 50 seconds. If neither player manages to eliminate the other within that time, both players are automatically eliminated.
