Heroes
Ashe Overwatch 2 Changes
Only one change has been made to
Ashe in Overwatch 2:
- Ashe got an ultimate nerf as B.O.B health points have dropped from 1200 to 1000
Ana Overwatch 2 Changes
Three changes have been made to Ana in Overwatch 2:
- Ana had her ammo increased from 12 to 15
- Sleep Darts cooldown has increased from 12 to 15 seconds
- Biotic Grenades effect duration has decreased from 4 to 3 seconds
Brigitte Overwatch 2 Changes
According to Brigitte, there were one nerf and 6 buffs adjustments in Overwatch 2:
- Inspire passive's duration has decreased from 6 to 5 seconds so the total healing output went down from 90 to 75 hp
- Shield Bash - The 0.75 seconds stun has been removed
- Shield Bash - Cooldown has been decreased from 7 to 5 seconds The damage has been increased from 5 to 50
- Shield Bash - The max range has been increased from 7 to 12 meters
- Shield Bash - The knockback is doubled
- Shield Bash - She is no longer halted when impacting enemy barriers
- Shield Bash - The inspire passive is now triggered upon hitting the bash
Bastion Overwatch 2 Changes
Bastion is one of the agents that is entirely different in Overwatch 2 as he got a complete rework. Resulting in 8 major changes:
- Recon mode damage has been increased from 20 to 25
- Recon - Weapon spread has been reduced from 1.2 to 0
- Recon - Weapon fire rate has been reduced from 8 to 5 shots per second
- Recon - Ammo has been decreased from 35 to 25
- Sentry form has been renamed to Assult
- Assault - Has 35% move speed penalty, 6 seconds duration, 12 seconds cooldown, infinite ammo, 2-degree weapon spread, and 12 damage per bullet
- Bastion no longer has self-repair and it has been replaced by A-36 Tactical grenade; it launches a nade that bounces off walls and can stick to enemies and deal up to 130 damage after a short delay
- His ultimate is now called artillery as he no longer goes into tank form. He's locked into place and can launch three long-range artillery shells that deal up to 600 damage with sharp fall-off, and they can headshot for up to 1200 damage.
Baptiste Overwatch 2 Changes
4 insane buff changes have been added to the hero
Baptiste in Overwatch 2:
- Biotic Launcher (Primary) - fire damage is up from 24 to 25 per round
- Biotic Launcher (Primary) - Damage falloff kicks in at 25 meters instead of 20 meters
- Biotic Launcher (Secondary) - Ammo has been increased from 10 to 13
- Regen Burst - instead of 20HP/s for 5 seconds to 50HP flat and then, 10HP/s for 5 seconds (50 HP flat doubles to 100HP flat on targets under 50% health)
Cassidy Overwatch 2 Changes
7 Changes have been made to the hero
Cassidy in Overwatch 2:
- Fan The Hammer - Firerate has been increased by 7.5%
- Combat Roll - Has a 50% reduction during usage
- Flashbang has been removed and replaced with Magnetic grenade
- Magnetic Grenade - Seeks and attaches a grenade that deals 131 total damage
- Deadeye - The duration has been increased from 6 seconds to 7.2 seconds
- Deadeye - Cost has been increased by 10%
- Deadeye - Damage reduction has been increased from 0% to 40%
D.VA Overwatch 2 Changes
7 Changes have been made to the hero D.Va in Overwatch 2:
- Total HP has been increased from 600 to 650. She now also has a 350 white HP
- Fusion Cannons - Spread angle has been reduced from 4.15 to 3.15 degrees
- Defense Matrix - Duration has been increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds
- Boosters - Damage has been increased from 10 to 25
- Boosters - Melee no longer cancels the ability
- Micro Missiles - Cooldown has been reduced from 8 seconds to 7 seconds
- Call Mech - Cost has been reduced by 12%
Doomfist Overwatch 2 Changes
Doomfist has got a complete rework in Overwatch 2:
- Doomfist has been changed to a Tank hero
- Doomfist is now 450 HP which means that it was increased by 200
- Hand Cannon - Damage has been decreased from 6 to 5
- Hand Cannon - Reload time has been decreased from 0.65 seconds to 0.40 seconds per shot
- Rocket Punch - Impact Damage has been reduced from (50-100) to (15-30)
- Rocket Punch - Wall Impact Damage has been reduced from (50-150) to (20-40)
- Rocket Punch - Maximum Charge Time has been reduced from 1.4 seconds to 1 second
- Rocket Punch - Doomfist is now able to Multi-Punch on multiple targets
- Removal of the Rising Uppercut ability
- Power Block ability has been added - Which allows him to enter a blocking stance, reducing damage taken from the front by 80% and blocking 90 total damage, which results in Rocket Punch being supercharged (50% more damage, 50% more speed, targets impacting the wall will be stunned from 0.5 to 1 second, which scales with the punch charge). When the ability is activated, his movement speed will be reduced by 35%
- Seismic Slam - Damage has been decreased from (25-125) to 50 flat damage
- Seismic Slam - Now travels further and changes based on aim direction - creating a large shockwave upon landing, resulting in 50 flat damage
- Seismic Slam - You can now cancel the ability by pressing your ability power, which allows you to carry your momentum
- Meteor Strike - Cast time has been reduced from 1 second to 0.5 seconds
- Meteor Strike - The outer ring damage has been reduced from (15-200) to (15-100). However, you can still do 300 damage to targets that are in the inner ring
- Meteor Strike - Knockback Ultimate has been removed but it will now slow the movement speed of enemies hit by 50% for 2 seconds as an added effect
- The Best Defense - Temporary shield has been changed to over health
Echo Overwatch 2 Changes
Two light changes have been made to
Echo in Overwatch 2:
- Focusing Beam - DPS has been reduced from 200 to 175 (only on targets that are below 75 HP)
- Duplicate - Maximum HP cannot exceed 300 HP (capped at 300)
Genji Overwatch 2 Changes
Even though
Genji has no new changes in Overwatch 2, he benefits from the DPS passive a LOT, not only that, he has a cool new mythic skin.
Hanzo Overwatch 2 Changes
Hanzo has got a one-little nerf in Overwatch 2:
- Storm Arrow - Damage has been decreased from 70 to 65 (Meaning that you will need 4 Storm Arrows to eliminate a 200 HP target)
Junker Queen Overwatch 2 Changes
Junker Queen was added during the second beta of Overwatch. Some changes were made to her recently:
- Commanding Shout - Radius has been reduced to 15 meters instead of 20
- Commanding Shout - Allied health bonus has been reduced from 100 to 50 HP
- Commanding Shout - Allied duration has been reduced from 5 to 3 seconds
- Commanding Shout - Cooldown has been increased from 11 to 15 seconds
- Rampage - Radius has been reduced from 6 to 5 meters
Junkrat Overwatch 2 Changes
According to Junkrat, he has gotten two buffs in Overwatch 2:
- Projectile Size has been increased from 0.2 meters to 0.25 meters
- Steel Trap - Projectile Speed has been increased from 10 meters per second to 15 meters per second and that allows you to throw it further
Lucio Overwatch 2 Changes
Lucio has gotten three changes in Overwatch 2:
- Crossfade Self-heal Aura - Healing has been reduced from 12 HP per second to 6 HP per second
- Sound Barrier - Cost has been reduced by 12%
- Sound Barrier - Now grants over health instead of temporary shields
Mercy Overwatch 2 Changes
4 changes have been added to
Mercy in Overwatch 2:
- Guardian Angel - Mercy is now able to build up a momentum charger meter that charges up when activated
- Guardian Angel - Now she is also able to cancel the ability anytime by using the crouch key, causing an instant super jump
- Regeneration - Changed from 20 HP per second after no damage for 1 second, to 22.5 HP per second, after taking no damage for 1.5 seconds
- Angelic Descent - You're now able to slow down the ascent speed, not to forget, the crouch key also works as a secondary binding
Mei Overwatch 2 Changes
Many changes have been added to Mei in Overwatch 2:
- Endothermic Blaster - Freeze Stuns have been replaced with a slow change from 20-70% to 50% flat
- Endothermic Blaster - Slow duration has been decreased from 1 second to 0.5 seconds
- Endothermic Blaster - DPS has been increased from 55 to 100
- Endothermic Blaster - Ammo has been increased from 120 to 150
- Cryofreeze - No longer removes Sigma's Gravitic Flux effect
- Ice Wall - The health of each pillar has been reduced from 400 to 250, therefore, it's easier to break them now
- Ice Wall - Maximum range has been reduced from 35 meters to 25 meters
- Blizzard - Cost has been increased by 15%
Moira Overwatch 2 Changes
No changes have been added to
Moira in Overwatch 2:
Orisa Overwatch 2 Changes
Orisa is one of the heroes that got a massive rework in Overwatch 2:
- Healthpoints - HP has been increased from 450 to 550 (275 health and 275 armor)
- Augmented Fusion Driver - Able to do 12 damage per shot. Has 10 shots per second. It uses a heat meter instead of ammo, when firing continuously the heat is increased. However, if you overheat, then you're stuck on a three-second cooldown. Also, it has no movement speed penalty while firing
- Halt - Ability has been removed
- Energy Javelin - The ability that replaces Halt, tosses a 60 damage Javelin with 0.2 seconds stun, as well as it knocks enemies back. If the enemy climbs on a wall, it does 40 extra damage plus 0.3 seconds of stun
- Fortify - Duration has been increased from 4 seconds to 4.5 seconds
- Fortify - It now grants 125 overhealth
- Fortify - Prevents critical damage (headshots), and reduces heat generation by 50%
- Teera Surge - To replace the previous ultimate. It pulls enemies in and slows move speed while ramping up in damage. Also, you're able to cancel early and gain all Fortify buffs while channeling. If you release the attack, you're able to deal up to 500 damage and that depends on how long the attack was charged.
Pharah Overwatch 2 Changes
A few changes have been added to
Pharah in Overwatch 2:
- Rocket Launcher - Reload time has been reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1.25 seconds (when she is out of ammo)
- Concussive Blast - It now has 30 damage instead of 0, and now also has an additional knockback
Reinhardt Overwatch 2 Changes
8 Changes have been added to
Reinhardt in Overwatch 2:
- Steadfast - Ability has been removed Healthpoints - HP has been increased from 500 to 625
- Barrier Field - Barrier Health has been decreased from 1600 to 1200
- Barrier Field - Regen rate has been decreased from 200 HP per second to 144 HP per second
- Charge - Steering turn rate has been increased by 50%. Now it can also be manually canceled
- Charge - Cooldown has been reduced from 10 to 8 seconds
- Charge - Damage has been reduced from 300 to 225
- Firestrike - Damage has been reduced from 100 to 90

Reaper Overwatch 2 Changes
Only 2 changes have been added to
Reaper in Overwatch 2:
- Hellfire Shotguns - Damage has been reduced from 6 to 5.4 per pellet
- Hellfire Shotguns - Spread has been increased from 6 to 7 degrees
Roadhog Overwatch 2 Changes
Roadhog gets 3 changes in Overwatch 2:
- Healthpoints - HP has been increased from 600 to 700
- Take a Breather - Healing has been increased from 300 to 350
- Whole Hog - Ultimate has been changed from "Channeled" to "Transform". You now need to press primary fire to use the ultimate. You're now also able to use other abilities with Whole Hog without canceling the ultimate. Whole Hog cannot be canceled if you're stunned
Sigma Overwatch 2 Changes
Sigma got the following changes:
- Healthpoints - HP has been increased from 400 to 550 (350 white health and 200 armor)
- Experimental Barrier - Regeneration rate has been increased from 80 HP per second to 100 HP per second
- Accretion - Damage has been increased from 70 to 100
Sojourn Overwatch 2 Changes
A few changes have happened to
Sojourn since he was added in the beta of Overwatch 2:
- Railgun (Primary) - Fire rate has been reduced from 15 shots to 14 shots per second
- Railgun (Secondary) - Projectile radius now scales with energy level from 0 up to the previous 0.1 meters. Also, the higher the energy level, the bigger the projectile radius
- Power Slide - Cooldown has been reduced from 7 seconds to 6 seconds
Soldier: 76 Overwatch 2 Changes
4 Changes have been added to
Soldier: 76 in Overwatch 2:
- Heavy Pulse Rifle - Damaged has been decreased from 20 to 18
- Sprint - Movement speed has been reduced from 50% to 40%
- Tactical Visor - You can now do critical hits (headshots)
- Tactical Visor - No longer removes damage falloff (30m - 50m)
Sombra Overwatch 2 Changes
Massive changes have been added to Sombra in Overwatch 2:
- Machine Pistol - Damage has been reduced from 8 to 7
- Machine Pistol - Weapon spread has been decreased from 2.4 to 2.16 degrees
- Hack - Cooldown has been reduced from 8 seconds to 4 seconds
- Hack - No longer reduces cooldown when hacking a health pack
- Hack - Cast time has been increased from 0.65 seconds to 0.85 seconds
- Hack - Health pack hack duration has been reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds
- Hack - Ability lockout has been reduced from 5 seconds to 1.75 seconds
- Hack - Targets are now revealed through the walls for the whole team
- Hack - Now able to destroy Baptiste's immortality field
- Hack - B.O.B lockout has been reduced from 5 seconds to 2 seconds
- Opportunist - Hacked targets now get 40% increased damage
- Stealth - Cast time has been reduced by 50%
- Stealth - Detection radius has been increased from 2 meters to 4 meters
- Stealth - You can now hack while in stealth
- EMP - Now deals 40% of current HP, no longer strip shield health pools
Symmetra Overwatch 2 Changes
Symmetra has gotten a massive number of changes in Overwatch 2:
- Photon Projector (Primary) - Ammo has been increased from 70 to 100
- Photon Projector (Primary) - No longer reloads ammo when damaging barriers
- Photon Projector (Secondary) - Damage has been reduced from 120 to 90 at full charge, while it has 60 to 45 damage at splash damage
- Photon Projector (Secondary) - Projectile speed has been increased from 25 meters per second to 50 meters per second
- Sentry Turret - Projectile speed has been increased from 15 meters per second to 20 meters per second
- Sentry Turret - Slow per turret has been reduced from 20% to 15%
- Teleporter - Max HP has been decreased from 300 to 200
- Teleporter - Duration has been changed from infinite to 20 seconds
- Teleporter - Deployment time has been decreased from 2 seconds to 1 second
- Teleporter - Cooldown now beings upon placement
