Heya! Today, I'll give you the best Warzone 2 ranked tips that will help you rank up faster than ever.
I play Warzone 2 ranked professionally and am a member of the Warzone 2 rank boosting team. Since it's my job to move up the ranks as quickly as possible, I can tell you some of my secrets. Many of my clients ask me how they can move up in the rankings quickly and what the best ways are to rank up and increase Skill Rating in Warzone.
I know how frustrating it is, and ELO hell is a real thing in Warzone. This guide will help you move up in rank from Bronze, Silver, Gold, or even higher ranks like Crimson and Iridescent. So, let's get right to it and find out how to rank up in Warzone faster than ever before.
Without further ado, let's get started with the first tip.
1. Good teammates are a must
Find people you like to play with who also want to play the game seriously so you can play it the way it was meant to be played.
Good friends of any rank know how to find the meta, talk to each other in a healthy, useful, and resourceful way, and win games. This is what you should look for in people you want to work with to win games.
If you're serious about grinding, you should find a group of players whose plans overlap with yours before, during, and after your normal play times, in case you log on earlier or decide to play a little later. You will need backup and extra people. Trust me.
2. Learn stutter aiming and aiming in general
If you've never heard of Stutter Aim, it means to watch a line of sight quickly by aiming in and out. When you look down sights for a long time, the sights don't stay still. Because of weapon sway, this is the case.
You can get around this with Stutter Aim. You can keep your aim steady if you aim in and out. This makes sure you don't miss any shots because your gun is moving around. When you get more kills, you get more SR and rank up fast.
The best Warzone players put in hundreds and hundreds of hours. Using an aim trainer can help you get better at Warzone faster if you are just starting out. This creates a balance that helps most players move through the game faster and see K/D gains a lot faster.
This is because the aim trainer gives you a controlled environment where you can spend 99% of the time training, collecting, waiting in lines, looking for the next enemy, and so on. Once you're better at the game's basic rules, start putting more effort into your game sense, your weapons, your character's skills, and all the other important things you need to do to win in Warzone.
3. Communication is key
Ranked Play in Warzone 2 is a competitive mode, but it is still a team sport. If your team is losing, it doesn't matter how many kills you have. If your team loses, you lose Skill Rating no matter how many times you win or lose. And if you want to win as a team, you need to talk.
Your mic is the best way to do this. Even if you're the only one with a mic, you can tell your team what to do even if they don't have one. You can also talk to each other through the game's ping system. This is useful for marking enemies you see or letting the other team know you're going to jump them early.
4. Use meta loadouts
You need a good Loadout to compete with the best of the best. Everyone will bring the best stuff they have. You can't afford to lose just because the other side has a better Loadout.
You can find good meta loadouts on Wzranked.com. For example at the writing of this post Lachmann-556, ISO 45, SO-14 were dominating. However, something else might the next patch.
5. Learn the maps
In Warzone 2 Ranked Play, you need to control the map better than the other team if you want to move up the ranks. You can't do this without knowing where you are. Do your work and learn as much as you can about the Al Mazrah map or whatever map is currently active.
Learn the best ways to get into each place. Your rank and ability will go up.
6. Strategy is important
Warzone 2 Ranked Play isn't just about killing enemies and running around. You can get a good amount of SR by killing as many people as you can early in the game. But when there are fewer teams around, the SR per kill/assist goes up. So, if you want to move up the ranks quickly, you'll need to pick your kills carefully.
Don't play like you normally do; instead, think about the big game. Don't try to beat up every team you see. Get ready for more planned fights and wait. Spread out as much as you can and attack the other team from different ways if you can in order to rank up faster.
7. Optimal loadout and tactical gear selection
The team should choose the best loadout for how they play. For example, one loadout could be for a shooter who can fight from a distance and take out players while his other squadmates rush into the other squad to quickly take them out. To do this right, though, you need to work well with your team.
If you want the best tactical gear, you should always choose self-revivals, UAVs, or even Revive Pistols.
8. Avoid impulsive ego fights
Ego fights can easily wipe out your whole team, so if two of your coworkers are down, don't rush into the territory. Instead, leave the area and focus on getting your teammates back. In some cases, even a suicide revive can be helpful.
9. Focus on earning fast cash
Unlike in crypto, fast cash is a good thing here. The Most Wanted contract is the easiest way to make money in Warzone 2. It will give you a lot of money, so you can quickly get your chosen loadout and get an edge over your opponents.
Go to the police station and open all of the weapon boxes. This will help you finish the job quickly. You can even go to a "black site" or "stronghold," where every bot you kill cuts 10 seconds off your contract time limit.
10. Try to assist by tapping enemies
In Warzone 2 Ranked Play, tapping enemies has become common because you get the same amount of SR for helping as you do for killing enemies. So, if your friends knock someone out, try to make at least one shot.
Also, if you go back to the Gulag a second time, you will get five rocks, be able to hit people who are fighting in the Gulag, and get assist points when someone dies.
11. Watch streams of pros
Even though you can't watch our pros unless they're working on your order (which makes sense), you can still learn from the public pros.
You can get better at the game if you try to copy some of their moves.
Many people only watch professional games to learn about the teams and see who is the best in the world. But this is one of the best ways to learn how to play better.
Since there is almost no room for error in their games, the pros are known for making very planned and fixed moves.
When you watch how pros play, you can learn a lot. You can find out about different kinds of shows, how to put yourself on the sites, and a lot more.
12. Personal performance is relevant
You will earn more SR if you do well in games than if you were to just win games and play poorly. Many players may already know this, but in case you didn't, Warzone cares about how well each player does. This means that just winning the game isn't enough to get a good SR rank up; you also need kills and assists.
If you win a game but haven't done well and have a low KD, it will take you a lot of those bad wins to move up a class. Also, if you win by a small amount, say 13-11, the game will give you less SR because it thinks the game wasn't easy enough for you to rank up. Try as hard as you can to win every time.
If you do this, your rank and SR in Warzone 2 will go up faster than before.
13. Deployable buy stations are amazing
The Deployable Buy Stations are a field improvement that wasn't used much before Season 3 Reloaded. These military assets first appeared in the first version of Warzone. They made it easy for players to buy things whenever they wanted to.
You can buy your friends back with them and play the game for as long as possible with your team of three. Make sure you always play for the regain, especially late in the game. Make sure you get that late game res. The mobile buy station is the most valuable piece of utility in the game.
These stations do more than just help peers who are down. Buying self-revives, durable gas masks, UAVs, and Precision Airstrikes can give you a big advantage if your team is still together and strategically placed for the final rounds.
14. Check the map before dropping
At the beginning of a match, one of the most important things is where you choose to land. As soon as that cutscene with the plane starts, you can go to your match's map screen and see where the circle of shrinking gas will begin. That can help you figure out where people are most likely to land and where you need to aim as the area gets smaller.
As your trust grows, it's important to adjust your strategies on this front. If you don't like wild gunfights, you might want to go further away to get some good gear. You could also try the "trial by fire" method and practice fighting by going to busy places like the Observatory, which is always full of people. It's up to you, but make sure you all choose a spot together.
15. Optimal settings are important
If you're just starting out in Warzone 2.0, there are some simple settings you can change on PC or console to help you do better.
Make sure you like how sensitive your controller or mouse is. We like having an ADS multiplier on, which makes it easier to track a target at a distance by reducing or increasing your sensitivity when you're looking down your weapon's sights.
All platforms can now change their field of view, and you should definitely increase it from the default of 90. This will let you see a lot more of the world at once, which is a big competitive advantage. We like to play on 109 FOV, but everyone has different preferences.
Turning off all of the game's music can also help a lot. The tense music that plays during endgame loops is a distraction that can make it hard to hear footsteps and other important sounds, so turn it off completely to be able to concentrate fully.
16. Pick up contracts when you can
Bounties contract points out one player on the map in a circle that gets smaller as you get closer to them. You have a certain amount of time to find and kill that player, and if you do, you get a prize. Even if someone else kills the player you put out a bounty on, you will still get a smaller prize. If you get one of these, it will tell you where a player is and give you XP just for opening it up.
Safecracker contracts tell you where to find and blow open a set of safes that have good loot inside and pay you cash when you're done. Again, these are obvious choices, but they are often the first goals in a match.
Scavenger contract has you find and open three marked loot boxes to get guaranteed rewards. It seems to only be live on Ashika Island's smaller playing area.
Secure Intel contract, on the other hand, tells you where to find something to share. You have to stand still for a while, sometimes in the open air. But they will tell you where the circle will close next, which is a huge tactical advantage. Experienced players like them because you can use this knowledge to your advantage if you move quickly.
Most Wanted contract has two sides to it. You're marked as a target for everyone on the map for three minutes. If you make it through that time, not only do you get money, but any dead friends who were in the gulag or watching the game drop back into the game right away.
The bottom line, though, is that these contracts are good for more than just loot and cash. They also give you a short-term goal to work toward and are a great way to make a match feel more organized and less like a guessing game. Honestly, it's more fun to go all out in a game where you've already done a few jobs than to hide for 20 minutes and then die.
17. Use pings
Warzone 2.0 has a ping system, just like every other battle royale game since Apex Legends. This lets you talk to your team. It lets you show them what you're looking at or where you want to go. This is a simple tip, but you should use it as often as you can and map it to a button you already know how to use. The further your team goes, the more information you share.
The pings in Warzone 2.0 are now much clearer, thanks to a recent update. This makes them once again an important tool.
18. Do not give up
It may sound like a cliche, but I mean it. Even if you have never won a game or haven't won in a while, if you keep playing smartly and making good strategy decisions, you will eventually win. They won't always go the way you think they will, either.
I'll never forget one game we played in Verdansk after a long string of loses. We died early, got through the Gulag without a fight after a tense two-minute wait, landed near the final circle without a gun and hid for five minutes before sneaking in, picking up a single SMG, and shooting three shots to kill the last player standing, who never even saw us.
We're back in the winning zone after one kill, a lot of stress, and a big chunk of money. Warzone is a skill game with a lot of luck and being aware of your surroundings, so don't give up if you're having a bad run.
19. Learn how to rotate well
In Warzone 2, location in a battle royale is one of the most important things that many players don't pay enough attention to. If you get stuck in the gas outside the circle, it doesn't matter if you win a gunfight or get loot. You have to figure out how the Circle Collapse works and how to use it to spin. Here are some tips that can help you spin well:
Keep an eye on your mini-map and the timer for the Circle Collapse.
Find a Gas Mask if the Circle Collapse is too far from where you fell. This will help you stay alive in the gas.
Land in the middle of the circle to avoid gas and make it easy to turn when the circle gets smaller.
You can move around the map by using vehicles.
20. Don't be afraid of fighting
Many people want to know how to rank up in Warzone 2 without fighting. Unfortunately, the only way to get better and learn your way around is to get into gun fights. These fights teach important fighting skills and methods while getting rid of the competition. Also, they help you learn how to make better choices.
So, instead of hiding in a broom closet and being afraid of every sound you hear, take action and be ready to fight. The more people you kill, the more likely you are to win. You'll also have more stuff to look for, which can help you learn and get better.
