New Apex Legends' Character Ash - Abilities, Story and more

Hey everyone! You have probably heard about Apex Legends’ Ash by now. Today I’m going to talk about all the leaks and tell you everything you need to know about Apex Legends’ new character Ash.

Before we dig in, let’s shortly cover the Apex Legends Season 11.

When Does Apex Legends Season 11 start?

Apex Legends Season 11 will start on November 2nd, 2021. That’s when Ash will also be released, therefore this is why we had to cover this. So, to answer your questions, Ash will be released on November 2nd, 2021 as well.

Who is Ash?

Ash, before she was turned into a Simulacrum pilot was called Dr. Asleigh Reid. She was one of the scientists working on Project Iris and interestingly enough, worked on the creation of Pathfinder. She was also Horizon’s apprentice, during which she secretly worked with the Apex Predators to capture Branthium that was supposed to be used to solve the energy crisis in the Outlands.

Horizon and Ash went on a mission with the goal of proving the existence of Branthium that was extracted from a Black Hole. After they did, Ashleigh betrayed Horizon leaving her to die in the Black Hole. She also turned on the Project Iris group and was stabbed by Amelie Paquette (Wattson’s grandmother), this left her wounded and her mind had to be reuploaded into a robotic body Simulacrum that she now controls. This is the birth of Ash.

Ash’s Abilities

Ash’s abilities were leaked and we know all of her abilities.

Passive: Marked For Death: Ash’s map reveals all deathbox locations. Press H key on a deathbox to reveal all surviving attackers

Tactical: Arc Ball: Release a slow-moving ball of charged electricity that tethers people who get too close

Ultimate: Phase Breach: Dash and leave a portal

As seen here, Ash is another legend who has the ability to track enemies, chain enemies who are stacking up too close for example in houses, and an ultimate which looks like a more advanced version of Wraith’s portal.
