Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 ends on August 22nd-August 24th, 2022.New Maps
A new map called Pearl is being added to the game. We will also be able to play it only in Unrated for the first two weeks so we have a chance to get used to it, and there will also be a Pearl only queue so you can really practice the map.Split is being removed due to various reasons, you probably know why. :)
Episode 5 Act 1 Battlepass
The battlepass will cost 1000 VP as usual. It will feature some nice cosmetics.- Shimmer Bulldog
- Shimmer Classic
- Shimmer Judge
- Shimmer Stinger
The free ones if you can't afford the Battlepass are Task Force 809 Knife and Phantom, Spitfire Operator, Enter the Duelists player card, Never Forget Leg Day Spray, Cat Tactics Gun Buddy.
New Agents
There will be no new agents in this act.Various Game Changes
- New rank in competitive called Ascendant placed in between Diamond and Immortal.
- Highest placement you can get is Ascendant 1 out of placement
- Five stacking 25% RR penalty starts at Immortal 1 now
- Solo/Duo/5-stack restriction now starts at Imm 1
