The Best Valorant Settings For Max FPS and Performance

Since I’m a professional Valorant player working at the Valorant boosting service, I need to have my FPS at the highest levels in order to do my job efficiently. Since I have a decent PC, this isn’t so much for me but for other gamers who want to enjoy the game at the maximum without investing a lot in their PC.

What are the best Valorant settings for high FPS?

I will split this guide into two sections, first one will be your Windows settings and the second one will be in-game settings. Let’s proceed with the Windows settings first.

Valorant Windows settings for max FPS

First, go to the following path in your Windows explorer:

C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Right-click on the VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe and press Compatibility, press “Disable fullscreen optimizations”.

Afterward, press the windows home button, search for Game Mode settings, press it and disable Game Mode.

For the last one, press the windows home button, search for Game Bar, and disable “Record game clips, screenshots and broadcast using Game bar”.

Valorant graphics settings for high FPS

Surprisingly, the game seems to run at more FPS on windowed fullscreen rather than on fullscreen. This may not work on every PC so give it a shot first for yourself to see if it’s the same for you. To do this, in Display Mode change to Windowed fullscreen.
