Hey there guys! Today I'm going to be talking about how to level up your Diablo 4 character fast. Since I'm a professional Diablo 4 booster here at Boosting Factory I frequently level up D4 characters for my clients.

Today I'm going to share some tips on Diablo 4 leveling with you. First, lets clear out the basics. If you're familiar with the basic stuff, you can skip and move to my Diablo 4 leveling tips. Lets go!

Diablo 4 Leveling Basics

1. How do you level up in Diablo 4?

In Diablo 4, the main way to level up is to finish story quests. On your way to the next level, you can also do side quests, world events, and dungeons to earn more XP.

2. How long is the Diablo 4 campaign?

The quest in Diablo 4 is a story that will take you some time to finish. In my estimate, around 16 to 20 hours of active gameplay.

3. What difficulty is the best for leveling up in Diablo 4?

From what I've seen, World Tier 2 (Veteran) is the best leveling difficulty.

4. How many levels are there in Diablo 4?

There are 100 levels in Diablo 4. To level up from 1 to 100, a character must hit level 50 and then finish another 50 Paragon levels.

5. How long does it take to reach level 100 in Diablo 4?

Most players will find it hard to get to level 100 in D4. It can take up to 150 hours to hit level 100 in D4.

6. How to get to the max level in Diablo 4?

The best way to get to the max level is to complete the main story along with as many side objectives and quests as you can. I will expand more below with top 10 tips on Diablo 4 leveling.

Everyone wants to make a strong character with strong skills so they can take over the end-game material. My guide to powerleveling is meant to help you make the best choices as you level up.

Hardcore leveling is more limited than softcore leveling in Diablo 4, since hardcore players have to start over every time they die. With softcore leveling, you can respawn after losing a fight. Dying in hardcore can be very frustrating because you lose all your work and loot.

In the next part of my guide to quickly leveling up in D4, I'll talk about the best ways to level up before level 50 and the fastest way to go from level 50 to level 100.

10 Best Diablo 4 Leveling Tips

1. Just stick to the campaign

The campaign does a lot more than just tell the story of a helltide rising. It's also meant to teach you the basics of the game, show you all the parts of the Diablo 4 map, and get you through the first leveling stage.

If you finish the game on the first World Tier and don't get too distracted, you should be around level 40 when you finish Act 5 in Diablo 4. But we can easily get the higher level by making just a few simple changes to how you play.

2. Kill everything you see. Literally.

Because the fast travel system in Diablo 4 is so great, it can be hard to resist the urge to just jump between waypoints to get where you need to go next.

Here's the thing: if you want to level up quickly, you need to kill a lot of demons, and if you want to kill demons, you need to find them first. Try to make it a habit to walk between tasks and kill every enemy you come across.

3. Don't forget to activate Obelisks for more XP

Whether you're out wandering the open world or looting the tunnels below Sanctuary, you're likely to come across a few Diablo 4 shrines. There are seven different kinds of stone tablets.

Each one gives you a 30-second buff that makes killing demons a lot easier. You can't be stopped if you use the Artillery Shrine, Blast Wave Shrine, Conduit Shrine, or Lethal Shrine, so always turn one on for quick kills and XP.

4. Play with your friends

Sanctuary was made by Blizzard with co-op in Diablo 4 in mind. To get people to play with their friends, there's a 10% XP boost when you're in a party, and you'll get that extra experience when any member of your party kills an enemy.

You may also want to stop and help other random players you see in the open world, as being close to another player (even if they're not in your party) gives you a 5% XP boost.

5. Work on your Renown rewards

Diablo 4 gives you renown for finishing side quests, Strongholds, and side dungeons. This makes it more likely for you to explore the five regions. You'll also get renown if you find all the Diablo 4 Altars of Lilith statues and find new places or open new Waypoints.

Moving through all five levels of Renown will not only give you skill points, potion charges, and gold, but it will also give you a huge boost in XP. Like I said before, just do whatever you can to keep yourself busy as you move from one campaign task to the next.

6. Do the side quests too

Fight the desire in the pit of your stomach to rush through the campaign and finish the side quests as soon as you're done with Angels and Demons. If you want to level up faster than your friends, you should turn in more quests from your Diablo 4 quest log.

Side quests not only put you on the offensive and give you more enemies to kill for XP, but they are also usually easy to finish.

7. Run dungeons (if possible with friends)

This game is all about grinding, and some of the ways to level up quickly in Diablo 4 aren't very pretty. If you really want to get more XP, I'd suggest getting some friends together (don't forget that you get more XP when you're in a group) and just going through close-by dungeons over and over again.

Consider the Anica's Claim and Rimescar Cavern dungeons in Fractured Peaks. They are between two vendors, which gives you a chance to increase your Diablo 4 salvage and sell things you don't need.

8. Raise your World Tier

If you really want to get more experience, you'll need to move up through the World Tiers in Diablo 4. You can change this on the Character Select Screen or at the World Tier Statue in Kyovashad.

Between levels 1 and 50, you have two options: Adventurer (normal difficulty) or Veteran (hard difficulty). In reality, it's not that much harder with one of the best Diablo 4 builds, but the 20% experience gain between the two is very important.

9. Complete the Strongholds

Each area has a set number of Strongholds, which are marked on the map by a red skull. Completing a Stronghold is a great way to earn a lot of XP. There are more benefits to finishing Strongholds than just getting new Waypoints, Dungeons, and Events. You will also get 100 Renown points.

Some Strongholds, like Kor Draga in the Fractured Peaks, have a buff that can be stacked that makes killing enemies give you more experience. Make sure to get this buff before going to the other Strongholds in the area.

At the time of writing, these were the Strongholds in the game.

  • Malnok

  • Nostrava

  • Kor Dragan

  • Qara Yisu

  • Temple of Rot

  • Onyx Watchtower

  • Crusaders' Monument

  • Eriman's Pyre

  • Vyeresz

  • Alcarnus

  • Altar of Ruin

  • Omath's Stronghold

  • Hope's Light

  • Moordaine Lodge

  • Tur Dulra

10. Do the World Events too

The further you go in the Diablo 4 story, the more you'll find other things to do on the map. There are both local (orange rings) and global (Tree of Whispers and Helltide) events, as well as many other things.

Try to take care of as many of these as you can. They are often some of the fastest ways to get XP quickly in Diablo 4, since they send waves of enemies your way and often draw the attention of other players who also want that extra XP.

What To Do After Finishing the Campaign in Diablo 4?

Once you reach level 50, you'll need to change how you level quickly if you want to get to level 100 quickly and not waste time. After you finish the story, you should go back to Kyovashad, go to World Tier 2, and finish the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon.

This will give you access to World Tier 3, where enemies hit harder but give more XP. When you reach level 50, you'll be able to do more things, like the Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeons.

With World Tier 3 and Nightmare Dungeons, you can expect the difficulty to go up, but you can't pass up the chance to get Sacred Gear and Glyphs for the Diablo 4 Paragon Board.

Once you've earned a lot of XP in Nightmare Dungeons and reached level 70, it's time to go to the Fallen Temple Capstone dungeon. If you do, you'll get to World Tier 4, which is a real test.

At World Tier 4, if you want to get from 70 to 100 quickly, you'll want to grind Nightmare Dungeons. Don't forget to do a few Tree of Whispers and Helltide world events, too, because you'll need the resources when you start optimizing your Paragon board.
