After you finish the main storyline in Diablo 4, you can use a number of Endgame Features. Capstone Dungeons are one of these things. These Dungeons are much bigger and harder than the ones you've been in before, and you'll only be able to finish a few of them after the game. Each one also has bosses that are very hard to beat, but don't worry, I have all the best tips and methods to help you do it.
I'm a professional Diablo 4 booster here at Boosting Factory and I do Capstone dungeon boosting for my clients regularly. I've decided to share info about them with you too, for free.
Below, I'll tell you more about where you can find each of these dungeons and what they let you do when you finish them.
What is a Capstone Dungeon from Diablo 4?
Capstone Dungeons are big dungeons that you can go into when you're in the late game. This means that you have to finish the campaign before you can get to them. Second, you need to be on World Tier 2 to get access to your first Capstone Dungeon.
From here, you can go into one of the two Capstone Dungeons that are open right now while I'm writing this post, more will open in the future. The Cathedral of Light is the first of these. It is in the northwest area of the Cathedral in Kyovashad.
The second is the Fallen Temple, which is in the far east of the Dry Steppes. Inside, they work like normal dungeons in that you have to kill monsters, finish tasks, and then beat a final boss. However, they are harder than your average dungeon.
Even though you'll get all the normal loot from a Capstone Dungeon, the main reason you'll want to finish it is to get to a higher World Tier level. When you finish your first Capstone Dungeon, World Tier 3 becomes available.
This gives you 100% more XP and 15% more gold when you kill monsters. It also makes it possible for Sacred and Ancestral gear to drop, as well as Unique items and Helltides. Increasing your World Tiers will be very important if you want to play through the end of the game.
Nightmare mode also gives you access to end-game material like Nightmare Dungeons, which are different versions of certain dungeons with extra changes. Face new waves of dangerous enemies from the world of Sanctuary that soak up most damage like sponges.
It also gives you access to the PvP mode, where you can buy new gear with the new resources you get from beating other players. Your gear will also hit new heights thanks to the chance of getting Uniques and how often Legendary gear drops.
How To Clear The Capstone Dungeon in Diablo 4
The Cathedral of Light Capstone dungeon, its swarms of Revenant Knights, and its boss, the Curator, are all pretty important. Before the last boss, the game throws you the High Council, which is made up of four tough bosses. They have unique skills and traits:
- Sacred Physician: A priest who uses spells to hit large areas and give the other High Council members bonuses.
- Grand Inquisitor: A dangerous spellcaster who fights you from a distance.
- Lord Commander: A Knight of the Revenant with a lot of HP.
- Devoted Champion: A knight with a pike who charges at you.
Once you've killed the High Council, you can kill the Curator to finish the Diablo 4 Capstone Dungeon. They often throw bone walls that trap you and then blow them up. They can also call for help in battle from whirlwinds and skeleton fighters. To get out alive, you have to weave through the bone walls and stick to defense strategies.
Even though the Capstone Dungeons are both very hard, there is one big tip that will help you get through them faster and easier. Each Dungeon has a maximum level. The maximum level for the Cathedral of Light is 50, while the maximum level for the Fallen Temple is 70.
Unlike most dungeons, which get harder as your level goes up, these ones will always stay at their level cap. This means you can level them up past their level cap to make them much easier. Aside from this, you should be fine as long as you have a good build and use elixirs to boost your power.
Capstone Dungeons Rewards
The main reason to go through the Capstone Dungeons is to unlock World Tiers as you go. You also unlock World tier 3, which gives you 100% more XP and 15% more gold when you kill monsters. This is in addition to the normal loot you get from every other dungeon. It also makes it possible for rare items and gear from the Sacred and Ancestral sets to drop.
When players finish the Fallen Temple Dungeon, they gain access to world tier 4 and the Torment challenge level. When they kill monsters, they also get 200% more XP and 15% more gold.
