Curious about the weapons in Black Ops 6 Beta? Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 takes us back to the early 1990s, just after the Cold War, during the Gulf War. The game features a mix of familiar firearms from previous installments along with some new additions.
If you prefer sticking to what you know, classics like the XM4 and MP5 (now called the C9) are still in the game. But they’ll be joined by other powerful weapons like the AS Val, a favorite from Modern Warfare (2019), and the new Tanto .22. To find out more about the weapons in Black Ops 6 and how to unlock them during the beta, keep reading.

After reading through the weapon descriptions on the CoD blog, a few new additions have really stood out: the AMES 85, Jackal PDW, Marine SP, LR 7.62, and GS45.
The AMES 85, with its "impressive accuracy and suitable rate of fire," looks like a reliable choice. If it's stable from the start, all we need to focus on is boosting its damage output. The Jackal PDW, on the other hand, promises "great mobility and handling," making it perfect for fast-paced, run-and-gun gameplay.
The Marine SP, known for its "rapid target acquisition" and "one-shot kill potential," seems ideal for smaller maps, especially with the new omnimovement system. It could be the go-to shotgun for quick, slide-and-shoot tactics.
Additional Bullet Damage Zones
Black Ops 6 also introduces more bullet damage zones—eight in total—and the LR 7.62 can take down enemies with hits to the head, chest, or even the arms. While it has "minimal recoil," you'll need to master its "slower handling" to fully exploit its power.
Lastly, there's the GS45, a semi-auto pistol with "unmatched close-range stopping power." Even if you find yourself relying on your sidearm, the GS45 might give you a fighting chance against heavier weapons.
